Tablet Computers

Tablet computers is a portable computer equipped entirely with the touch screen panel. Its main distinguishing feature is the use of the screen as an input device by using the stylus, digital pen or fingertip instead of using the keyboard or mouse.

Microsoft introduced a version of Windows XP for tablet computers called tablet PC's in 2000, while the new Apple tablet computer version launched in 2010 with the name iPad.

In 2011 Samsung launched Galaxy Tab, tablet computer version 7 (which was followed by the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus) and 10.1 (P7100)

Early examples of the concept of a tablet computer information from the 19th and 20th centuries, especially as the prototype and the idea of a concept introduced by Alan Kay in 1968.
